This code really works. No kidding. But you have to do it right. You'll need one Pokemon with Surf, one Pokemon with Fly, and you need to have reached Cinnabar Island. Begin by going to Viridian City and talking to the man at the north end that says "Aahhh, I've had my coffee now and I feel great. Sure you can go through. Are you in a hurry?" Answer NO to his question and watch him catch a Weedle. Now put the item you want more than 100 of in the sixth slot from the top of your items list. Fly to Cinnabar Island and Surf up and down the east coast. When you fight a monster, the screen will remain black for a second - this is normal. You will now fight either Missingno or a screwed up Pokemon at level 0 with symbols for a name. Either way, defeat it or run away BUT DON'T CAPTURE IT ON PAIN OF LOSING YOUR SAVED GAME!!! Note: If you beat a Missingno (it will be at level 166) you gain 3,351 exp. points! Yeow! After you win or run, you will have more than 100 of the item in the sixth slot.

CLONE POKEMON:

It is possible to clone Pokemon. You need a friend, a game link cable, two game boys, and two copies of Pokemon. One person should have a powerful Pokemon to clone; the other should use a common one like Rattata or Pidgey. Go to the Trade Center and select two to trade. It will say, "Pokemon X and Pokemon Y will be traded." When both players hit OK, Waiting! will appear on both screens for a second. Turn the game with the powerful Pokemon off. Wait for the other Game Boy to say, "Trade Complete!" and turn it off too. If all went well, both people will have the powerful Pokemon and the common one will be gone. NOTE: This code has a small risk of messing up your game when you use it.

FIGHT AND CAPTURE SAFARI ZONE POKEMON:

Pokemon in the Safari Zone are really, REALLY hard to catch. I mean so hard to catch you start screaming at your Game Boy and threaten to throw it out the window, run it through the dishwasher, etc. etc. This trick draws Safari Zone Pokemon out of the Safari Zone so you can capture them easily. To do it, go to the area in the Safari Zone that has the Pokemon you want to capture in it and walk around until the time runs out. Then go south of Fuschia City and surf to the Seafoam Islands. Take care to avoid trainer battles along the way. If you encounter a trainer, you will have to start over. Surf up and down the coast of the Seafoam Islands; monsters you encounter will be from the Safari Zone! You can now weaken them and use Sleep-inducing attacks as well as the poweful Ultra Ball to catch these Pokemon!! No harm can be done to your game using this trick.
